Today marks the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. ... forever in our hearts, the great Rama Nine. On October 13, 2021, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Known as King Rama IX. Monarch of Thailand for seven decades, he was probably one of the most popular kings of the kingdom and the beloved Father of the nation. This was decided in 2017, that to pay homage to His memory every year on October 13, the anniversary of His death, will be a public holiday. Numerous ceremonies will be held throughout Thailand. The Biography of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was at the Golden Jubilee Archival Museum, Khlong Ha, Pathum Thani province.
Different designations suggestive of His Majesty's stately roles:
1.) The King is a great warrior. In 1974, His Majesty was on an inspection tour of the border patrol police while they were clearing landmines in Wang district in Narathiwat province. And he did so without any concern for his own safety.
2.) Cheif Upholder of Religion. In that position, the monarch upholds every faith, including Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Brahmanism, and Hindusim, among others.
3.) King of Great who lives a life of justice and virtue. The king presides over the opening of the House of Parliament where he delivers an address based on moral tenets on national administration and management.
4.) As King of the Realm. The King Majesty is required to look after and nurture the land, the rice grains, the species of animal are for the welfare of the state. His Majesty's private projects at Chitralada Palace represent the case that was meant to be educational.
One other observation is that whenever His Majesty sets out on a rural trip, he is regularly clad either in a military or police uniform. These are meant to give his people the impression the military to help, not to arrest them. So, no need to be afraid of uniform men.
Chaipattana Foundation is His Majesty's brainchild. Its logo comprises among things:
1.) A double-bladed sword, which is the weapon that overcomes all barriers;
2.) A conch brimming with water; His Majesty wants the water in continuing droplets rather than a stream of water;
3.) The victory standard bearing the Chakri symbol or chak-three that ushers in victory, and,
4.) A lotus in full-bloom indicative of existing property;
King Rama IX was loved to play all sorts of foreign musical instruments but the saxophone is his favorite.
As witnessed by both Thais and foreigners, King Rama IX was an extraordinary man with many abilities. He is also known, universally, for his excellence in applying his knowledge in art and science to his duties and activities for the benefit of the Thai people and the nation as a whole.
King Rama IX was recognized as a great artist, he exhibits an abiding interest in art and culture, particularly music. As a musician and composer, he has numerous original compositions to his credit. His hobbies encompass several artistic fields, such as photography, painting, sculpture, literature works, invention, and design.
The other creativity of His Majesty King Rama IX, by February 2, 1993, His Majesty was awarded a patent for the Chaipattana Watermill, the world's ninth mechanical aerator to be awarded a patent, and the first registered and issued to royalty, making it a "patent bearing the mark of the first king in the history of the Thai race, and the world's first."
As everyone has seen through the ages, Thailand's winding waterways have served the people well. But pollution, at one time and other, clogged the river and canal waterways to such an extent it affected the livelihood of people who rely upon them.
Witnessing the hardship of His Majesty King Rama IX or King Bhumibol Adulyadej project of "Chaipattana Watermill", based on the prototypical "Hluke", a traditional device used to feed water onto farmland, His Majesty charged the Chaipattana Foundation.
The Chaipattana Watermill was a mechanical aerator that pushes water and sands water sprays into the air by means of a turning wheel. Polluted water, projected into the air, falls back onto the surface and forms bubbles that oxygenate the circulating water and, in the process, effectively treats the wastewater released from industrial, agricultural, and community sources.
There are more than these little things that King Majesty Rama IX was have done for all people in Thailand which to help and support the countries to get better life quality. The phrase that all Thais knew " Kid teung Khon bon Fha", thats meant thinking of His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej or King Rama IX.
