Bangkok Bank Joined by Others to Assist Communities Suffering from Drought.

A press conference was recently held at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to announce the success of the “Bualuang Joins Communities to Solve the Drought” project in which Bangkok Bank and its Bualuang Foundation joined other organizations to assist 22 communities in six provinces, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phrae, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok and Khon Kaen, in water management to ensure they have a sufficient supply for consumption and farming.


Those in attendance included (from left to right): Aphichart Romyarub Bualuang Foundation board member and secretary; Khunying Chodchoi Sophonpanich, Bua Luang Foundation board member; Arsa Sarasin, Chairman of Bualuang Foundation;  Dr Suvit Maesincee, former Minister of Higher education, Science, Research and Innovation; Sumet Tantivejkul, Chairman of the Utokapat Foundation under Royal Patronage of HM the King and Honorary Chairman of the Water Resources Information Institute; Dr Thaweelap Rittapirom, Director and Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank PLC; and Supatta Sangsit, Bualuang Foundation board member and assistant secretary.
