I think that’s a part that leads Americans to have warm views about Thailand because they get to be here, meet the people and eat spectacular food. They go away with great experiences and great memoriesfood. They go away with great experiences and great memories.There is a prevalent fear among Thais of being re- jected for US travel visas – especially during this deli- cate political period. Do you have any comment on that?I don’t think people should believe there are problems for Thais applying for a visa to travel in the USA. And certainly there are no problems in acquiring a visa related to the broader relationship between the USA and Thailand. Nothing has changed since the government changed here. It’s the same process of applying for visas, interviewing and obtaining the visa. I think there is an urban myth that people decide that there must be a difference or a bigger problem but I don’t think there is. In fact, we are even faster now issuing visas than we were several years ago. We’ve speeded up the process.
