But there are many cases in the region, including in Vietnam, where businesses fall apart because of disputes with local owners. So it’s better to run your own business than have it ruined by others. Just remember that if the business goes well, the praise will go to local partners, but if something goes wrong, the blame will shift to the foreign investors.”He offered another piece of advice for Thai investors. “Think of yourself as a local Cambodian when doing business here.
