The philosophy of choral singing can be applied to modern Thai society; a chorus represents society, with each member assigned to sing a different melody. No matter how different they are, all lines of the score are part of the harmony of the song.”Apart from directing the Suanplu Chorus, Ms Dusdi has created another musical charity project called “Breath ... Music ... Life: Music for a Better Life”. The project is in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation and Buddha- dasa Indapanno Archives (Suan Mokkh Bangkok). Its purpose is to provide people with a music course integrated with Buddhist philosophy. According to the programme, partic- ipants will pray, chant, meditate and do light exercise.“We put melodies into rhythmic chanting. We also play relaxing music during the training, and I play the piano.
