This was our first chance to enter a foreign market. Apart from this, he also wrote a travel book called Chuan-Jeen-Tiew-Thai, which means to invite Chinese to travel to Thailand. The book describes the history of Thai-China relations and provides information on tourist attractions around the country. It was written in Thai and translated into Chinese. I played a part in coordinating the project by suggesting the Tourism Authority of Thailand publish it. They decided to order 5,000 copies to sell at Thai tourism offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and Guangzhou. It would emphasize the strength of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations on the occasion of their 40th anniversary. In the future, we plan to translate the book into Indian and Russian in order to penetrate more markets.38 Elite+
