You begin by waiting in a dimly lit bar area. The only indication of what is to come is the illuminated sign, and you feel you are about to enter a haunted house. A waitress arrives to prepare you for what comes next. You can choose a four-course meal from the Asian, Western, vegetarian or “surprise” options and take as long as you need (90 minutes is usually plenty). What’s in each category? It’s a mystery. You only find out through pictures after you’ve finished. You deposit all light-emitting objects in a secure box and are introduced to your blind guide, who will lead you through the dining experience, serve your food and tend to your needs.
