and we give you a choice so you can read our books on paper or digitally. No matter which method you prefer, Amarin appreciates that you read and we are ready to adapt and support that. How is Amarin preparing for the launch of the ASEAN Economic Community? It’s kind of a blessing in disguise, as the majority of readers in the country are more familiar with Thai books, so it is challenging territory for foreign publishers. Reader preferences in each country depend on its culture and history. At present, Amarin has moved to expand abroad by syndicating and exchanging articles with foreign magazines. As one of the speakers of the IPA congress, can you give us an idea of what you will talk about? My topic will deal with the future role of publishers. He believed that we have to be honest and give customers what we promise. He turned abstract ideas into concrete ones when he gave advice. At the same time, my mother’s faith in Buddhism also motivated me. When my father passed away, the family was left in sorrow, until one day a friendrecommended I practise dharma. As I began studying Buddhist philosophy, I became absorbed in it, especially after I understood the dharma cycle of arising, existing and falling. I’ ve learned to be aware of the present moment and remain mindful when dealing with problems. What is your motto as the CEO of Amarin? It is very simple. As Buddhism says, we can’t predestine an outcome. I’ve realized the transient nature of life and I’m training myself not to feel too attached to what I’ve acquired in life. Nowadays I try to do my best for any cause I’m facing because good causes will definitely bring good results.Elite+ 23
