on the National Day of Ireland, St Patrick’s Day

A Chairde, Dear Friends, Sawadee krub,
It is a great pleasure for me to convey warmest good wishes to all Irish people in Thailand and all friends of Ireland from Thailand and from all over the world on the occasion of Ireland’s National Day, St Patrick’s Day, a day to celebrate courage and hope. We remember St. Patrick as a youth who was captured and enslaved, but overcame adversity and inspired a whole nation.
In the world we find ourselves in right now, with a lot of bad news and anxiety all around us, it is vitally important that we look to the future and encourage and empower today’s young people to equip themselves to be tomorrow’s leaders.
