Eight aspiring designers from the Hong Kong Design Centre debuted their works in Thailand at the recent Bangkok Design Week 2018, held from January 27 to February 4. Inspired by Hong Kong’s small size and rich cultural diversity, the artists showcased their interpretation of the modern world in “DXHK – Bangkok Pocket Worlds”, which pushed the boundaries and limitations of design. In this edition, Bangkok Design Week explored the theme of “the NEW-ist Vibes” by inviting the Thai creative and design community to share fresh and insightful visions of Bangkok, allowing visitors to peer into the future of the capital of Thailand.
