Thailand is about to experience Spain like never before as the Eat Spain, Drink Spain Thailand 2025 campaign has arrived, bringing with it a feast of flavours, aromas and experiences that capture the very best of Spanish gastronomy, wine, and culture. Running until 15 October, this three-week celebration includes more than 60 events and 40 promotions hosted at the country’s top restaurants, bars and lifestyle venues.

Eat Spain, Drink Spain is an international campaign created to showcase Spanish gastronomy and wine. Organised by the Embassy of Spain in Thailand and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, the 2025 edition marks the debut of the campaign in Bangkok.

The programme has highlighted Spain’s world-class chefs, wines, tapas culture and culinary innovations. Signature experiences have included the Ruta de la Tapa, wine dinners, tastings, mixology sessions, cultural pairings and retail activations — all designed to connect Thai audiences with Spain’s celebrated lifestyle of food, wine, and conviviality.

The Ruta de la Tapa comprises 15 restaurants inviting diners to journey through Spanish tapas. Guests collect stamps at each venue through a playful “passport” system, with prizes awaiting those who reach a set number of stops along the trail. More than just a dining promotion, the Ruta de la Tapa captures the communal spirit of Spanish culture, encouraging connection through food.

The campaign began with a spectacular gathering on 23 September when some of the most celebrated Spanish chefs in Thailand joined forces in Bangkok. The line-up featured Chef Willy (el Willy), Chef Palanca (Vaso), Chef Pepe Dasí (Luma), Chef Roberto (Albricias), Chef David Aparicio (PanWat), Chef Riky (Bar Sociedad Laferia), Chef Pau Brossa (Pura Brasa) and Chef Kanikka (Taburete). Together, they showcased the very best of Spanish cuisine, setting the tone for the events and collaborations that have come.

Throughout the campaign, Thailand has played host to a rich calendar of experiences designed to immerse audiences in Spanish food and wine. Eat Spain, Drink Spain 2025 has also extended beyond the dining table, blending food with lifestyle and culture with Spanish-themed DJ nights, Masterclasses for food lovers and exclusive wine dinners and pairing experiences. Spanish products heav also been on display in retail spaces. The “Discover the Spanish Fiesta” campaign, sponsored by LaLiga, has been running in more than 90 Tops Supermarkets while Gourmet Market and The Mall Group have offered exclusive promotions on Spanish products.

Don’t miss Eat Spain, Drink Spain Thailand 2025 before it ends as it has been a true fiesta of flavours.
