Message from HE the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Thailand
on the Occasion of Egypt’s National Day

On Egypt’s National Day, celebrating the 74th anniversary of the 1952 Revolution on the 23rd of July, I extend my warmest greetings to the Egyptian community, Thai people and all friends of Egypt.
This year holds dual significance as we celebrate both the 1952 Revolution and 200 years of modern Egyptian diplomacy. From the ancient peace treaty of Ramses II, the first peace agreement in recorded history, to our contemporary regional efforts, Egypt’s identity has always been defined by a steadfast commitment to dialogue, mutual respect, and international peace.
This core philosophy anchors Egypt’s 72-year friendship with Thailand -- a partnership built on deep trust and shared aspirations.
Today, our bilateral ties continue to flourish. Recent high-level Foreign Minister consultations underscore our close cooperation. Human and educational bonds are powerfully represented by over 3,000 Thai students thriving at Al-Azhar alongside Al-Azhar envoys serving in Thailand.
One of the greatest privileges of serving as Egypt’s Ambassador to Thailand has been witnessing the genuine admiration that Thai people hold for Egypt. We were profoundly honoured by the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya to the Grand Egyptian Museum during its official inauguration, reflecting our deep cultural affinity.
Beyond a rich civilization, modern Egypt offers a dynamic gateway for global growth. With world-class infrastructure, the Suez Canal Economic Zone and vast free trade networks spanning Africa, the Middle East and Europe, Egypt is an ideal hub for Thai businesses.
The Embassy of Egypt in Bangkok remains fully committed to supporting Thai investors and entrepreneurs in building lasting, prosperous partnerships.
As we celebrate our National Day, may the enduring friendship between Egypt and Thailand continue to bring shared prosperity for generations to come.
